A flavor-packed Cajun Chicken Pasta that’s creamy, spicy, and perfect for any occasion.

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, around 5 minutes.
  4. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.
  5. Add the cooked penne pasta and grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Toss until well combined.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream or use low-fat cheese. You can also swap chicken for shrimp or try a vegetarian version with tofu or chickpeas.
