A vibrant burst of flavors with tender shrimp seasoned to perfection, fresh vegetables, and a luxurious cream sauce over pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or linguine)
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain it well and set it aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp seasoned with Cajun seasoning and sizzle until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Toss in the sliced bell pepper, chopped onion, and minced garlic to the same skillet. Sauté until tender and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add Parmesan cheese along with salt and pepper, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and sautéed shrimp back into the skillet, tossing until well-coated with the sauce.
  6. Serve your Cajun Shrimp Pasta in bowls, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Consider adding a splash of cream or milk when reheating.
