A vibrant Cajun Shrimp Pasta that combines succulent shrimp, fettuccine, and a creamy, spicy sauce, capturing the essence of Louisiana culture.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set it aside for later.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the shrimp in the skillet, generously sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Sauté the sliced bell pepper and halved cherry tomatoes in the same skillet until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted.
  8. Combine the cooked pasta and shrimp back into the skillet and gently toss everything together until heated through.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!
