A delightful fusion of succulent chicken breasts, fresh basil, creamy mozzarella, and vibrant cherry tomatoes, all enhanced by a tangy balsamic glaze.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Top each chicken breast with halved cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.
  6. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the layered chicken.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with extra basil and more balsamic glaze if desired.
