A healthy and delicious alternative to traditional pizza crust made with cauliflower.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and chop into florets.
  3. Pulse the cauliflower florets in a food processor until it resembles rice.
  4. Steam the cauliflower rice for about 5 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. Squeeze out excess moisture using a clean towel.
  6. Combine the cauliflower, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix well until everything is incorporated.
  7. Form the mixture into a circular shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Add your desired toppings and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes if needed.

Notes

For a crispier crust, ensure all moisture is squeezed out and consider baking longer during the first round.
