A comforting cheeseburger pie that’s easy to make and perfect for family dinners.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup Bisquick mix
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Ketchup and mustard (optional)
  • Oil for greasing the pie dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté the ground beef with chopped onions over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Season the beef mixture with salt and pepper. Add ketchup or mustard if desired.
  4. Grease a 9-inch pie dish and spread the beef mixture across the bottom.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef layer.
  6. Whisk together the eggs, milk, and Bisquick mix in a bowl until smooth.
  7. Pour the batter evenly over the beef and cheese layers.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and set. Test doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Cool for a few minutes, slice, and garnish as desired before serving.
