Delightful cruffins with layers of flaky pastry, gooey mozzarella, and nutty Parmesan, infused with garlic.

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
  3. Mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously onto each rectangle of puff pastry.
  5. Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese to the center of each rectangle.
  6. Roll each rectangle into a cruffin shape.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Try adding herbs like rosemary or thyme to the garlic butter for extra flavor.
