Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti by boiling salted water and cooking until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. Prepare the garlic sauce by heating butter and olive oil in a skillet. Sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the cheeses and pasta water to the skillet. Stir until melted and combined into a creamy sauce.
  4. Combine the cooked spaghetti with the sauce, tossing to coat it evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve garnished with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.

Notes
