A simple and nutritious chia seed pudding that serves as a perfect breakfast or dessert option.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh fruit for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Stir well to combine.
  2. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumping.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or overnight, allowing the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and transform into a pudding-like texture.
  4. When ready to serve, stir the pudding well and top with fresh fruit if desired.

Notes

Chia pudding can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Add more milk if it becomes too thick.
