A flavorful wrap that combines tender roasted chicken, crisp romaine, and creamy Caesar dressing all wrapped in a soft tortilla.

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (450g), patted dry
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (15ml)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt (5g)
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper (2g)
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce (140g), crisp, chopped, and thoroughly dried
  • 0.33 cup shaved Parmesan cheese (30g), large flakes
  • 1 cup rustic croutons (60g), slightly crushed
  • 0.5 cup creamy white Caesar dressing (120ml), thick quality
  • 4 large soft white flour tortillas (10-inch / 25cm size)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken: Pat dry the chicken breasts and rub them with olive oil, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  2. Sear the chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Prepare the romaine mixture: In a bowl, combine chopped romaine, shaved Parmesan cheese, and crushed croutons.
  4. Add the Caesar dressing: Drizzle the dressing over the lettuce mix and toss to combine.
  5. Slice the chicken: Cut the rested chicken into strips.
  6. Assemble the wraps: On a tortilla, layer the romaine mixture and sliced chicken, then roll up tightly.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken in Caesar dressing before cooking. Customize with veggies like cucumbers or cherry tomatoes.
