Ingredients
Scale
1 lb ground chicken
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Combine the ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl to create a well-seasoned mixture.
Pour the beaten egg into the bowl and mix thoroughly to bind all the ingredients together, ensuring the koftas will hold their shape.
Using your hands, shape the chicken mixture into small, evenly sized balls for uniform cooking.
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat until shimmering and hot.
Place the kofta balls in the heated pan. Cook them evenly, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides and fully cooked through, about 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove the koftas from the pan and serve hot with a side of yogurt sauce or a fresh salad for a delicious meal.
Notes
For best results, let koftas rest briefly after cooking for more flavorful bites. They also freeze well for up to 3 months.
