A comforting dish blending savory flavors of chicken and mushrooms with the sweetness of Marsala wine, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 3/4 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour.
  2. Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and brown the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the same skillet and sauté until browned.
  4. Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Great when served over mashed potatoes or pasta. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
