  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  6. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, stirring to coat evenly.
  7. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Leftover beef and broccoli can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop.
