  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Vanilla ice cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the large egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the dough.
  7. Pour the dough into a greased skillet or a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  9. Serve warm with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
