A decadent cheesecake that combines the rich flavors of chocolate and strawberries, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and ¼ cup sugar, then press into the bottom of the pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add remaining sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in sour cream until well combined.
  6. Pour cream cheese mixture over the crust and bake for 55-60 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center.
  7. Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Melt chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  9. Top chilled cheesecake with sliced strawberries and drizzle with melted chocolate before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for best texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
