Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease and flour four ramekins generously.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, and granulated sugar until thick and pale.
  4. Combine the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture gently.
  5. Add the sifted flour and salt to the mixing bowl, then add vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
  6. Portion the batter evenly into the prepared ramekins, filling each three-quarters full.
  7. Bake the ramekins for 12-14 minutes until edges are firm and centers are soft.
  8. Cool for 1 minute before inverting onto plates.
