  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease four ramekins with butter.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth, stirring every 30 seconds.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, and granulated sugar until thick and pale.
  4. Combine the cooled chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until smooth.
  5. Mix in the all-purpose flour, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until completely smooth.
  6. Fill the ramekins evenly with the batter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-14 minutes until the edges are firm and the center is soft.
  8. Cool for 1 minute, then invert onto serving plates and serve immediately.
