  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust them with flour.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add the powdered sugar to the chocolate mixture and mix well.
  4. Incorporate the eggs and egg yolks, mixing until combined.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Fold in the flour and a pinch of salt until just combined.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about three-quarters full.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center remains soft.
  9. Cool for 1 minute, then invert onto plates. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
