Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Create the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the fresh lime juice, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag, pour the marinade over them, seal tightly, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Prep the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  4. Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off, and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  5. Serve Warm: Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve garnished with extra cilantro if desired.

Notes

Marinate for at least 2 hours for deeper flavors. You can substitute cilantro with parsley or use lemon juice instead of lime.
