A comforting Classic Chicken Parmesan featuring crispy chicken, gooey cheese, and vibrant marinara sauce that brings cherished moments with loved ones.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for the perfect bake.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Mix the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning in a shallow dish.
  4. Dip each seasoned chicken breast in the beaten egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken in a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over it.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the marinara-covered chicken.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
