Delightful cookies with a blend of crunchy oats, rich chocolate, and sweet coconut, perfect for sharing with loved ones.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, nuts, and coconut until well combined.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring them to wire racks.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
