  • 12 oz penne or rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the Italian sausage to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula until browned.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in honey and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, reducing heat to cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Taste the sauce and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  7. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and add to the skillet with the sauce.
  8. Toss everything together gently to coat the pasta with the sauce.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
