A comforting and rich pasta dish with juicy steak, creamy sauce, and Cajun spices in just one pan.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank)
  • 12 oz penne or fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear the steak for 3–5 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Next, add the beef broth, heavy cream, and honey to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  5. Add the uncooked pasta to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cook for 10–12 minutes until al dente.
  6. Return the steak to the pan and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For the best flavor, choose high-quality steak. Allow the steak to sear without rushing for a nice crust.
