A comforting bowl of creamy pasta with juicy chicken and a hint of garlic.

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Begin by cooking the pasta according to package instructions. Once al dente, drain it and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until it’s browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the Garlic: Once the chicken is golden, stir in the minced garlic, sautéing for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Simmer with Cream: Pour in the heavy cream and bring everything to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts.
  5. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing together until each strand is coated in sauce. Adjust with reserved pasta water if too thick.
  6. Season to Taste: Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
  7. Serve and Garnish: Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Serve with a green salad or garlic bread. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
