A delicious combination of creamy Cajun Alfredo sauce and tender steak bites served over twisted pasta, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak (or chicken/turkey)
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook the twisted pasta by bringing a pot of salted water to a boil. Add your twisted pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the steak bites in a large skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat, cooking until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Create the creamy sauce by lowering the heat, adding butter, and then pouring in the heavy cream with Cajun seasoning. Simmer gently for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, then fold in the seared steak bites and mix in grated Parmesan until gooey and flavorful.

Notes

Serve with fresh parsley and a green salad dressed with olive oil and vinegar, and pair with a full-bodied red wine.
