Ingredients
Scale
1.5 pounds sirloin steak (or chicken/turkey)
12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
1 cup heavy cream
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
Boil the Twisted Pasta: Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the twisted pasta and cook until it’s al dente. Drain and set it aside.
Sear the Steak Bites: In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the cut sirloin steak and sear until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Create the Creamy Cajun Sauce: Lower heat, add butter to the skillet, then pour in heavy cream and sprinkle Cajun seasoning. Stir well and let it simmer gently until it thickens slightly.
Combine the Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat, fold in the grated Parmesan cheese and seared steak until everything is combined and heated through.
Notes
Season your steak well before searing. For extra heat, add more Cajun seasoning.
