A luxurious blend of flavors with rich and creamy garlic butter sauce over perfectly cooked pasta topped with juicy steak.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
  3. Sauté garlic in the same skillet, adding the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  4. Prepare the creamy sauce by reducing the heat to low, then adding the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy sauce, mixing well.
  6. Slice the rested steak and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Rest the steak before slicing to retain juices. Reserve pasta water for sauce adjustments.
