A delightful fusion of creamy macaroni and cheese inside a crispy tortilla, perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: cooked bacon bits, diced tomatoes, or green onions for topping

Instructions

  1. Combine your cheesy components in a bowl, mixing together the cooked macaroni, cheddar, mozzarella, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  3. Prepare the tortilla by placing one in the skillet and spreading half of the macaroni and cheese mixture on one half of the tortilla.
  4. Fold the tortilla over and cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  7. Slice into wedges and serve warm with your choice of toppings.
