A healthier alternative to traditional mashed potatoes, creamy mashed cauliflower is a velvety comfort dish that’s easy to prepare and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cauliflower by steaming or boiling the florets until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Drain the cauliflower well and transfer it to a mixing bowl.
  3. Add minced garlic, butter, and heavy cream to the mixing bowl.
  4. Blend the mixture using a potato masher or immersion blender until smooth and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish and serve warm, adding chopped chives or parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat gently, adding a splash of cream if needed.
