  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies (optional)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the Pasta – Cook the bow tie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Beef and Onions – In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Make the Cheese Sauce – Once the beef is cooked, reduce the heat and add the Velveeta cheese and milk, stirring until the cheese is melted and creamy.
  4. Add Diced Tomatoes (if using) – If using, add the diced tomatoes and stir to combine.

Notes
