Instructions

  1. Squeeze out the moisture from the grated potatoes using a clean kitchen towel.
  2. Combine the grated potatoes, chopped onion, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Form the potato mixture in the skillet and press down to create an even layer.
  5. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Flip the hash browns using a plate and cook the other side for another 5-7 minutes until crispy.
  7. Serve hot topped with diced avocado and optional toppings.

Notes

For best results, ensure you squeeze out as much moisture as possible from the grated potatoes. Experiment with different spices for added flavor.
