  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons dill weed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices
  • Homemade aioli

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. Mix the breadcrumbs with the dill, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  6. Toast the sandwich buns until golden and crunchy.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches with lettuce, crispy chicken, tomato slices, and homemade aioli.

Notes

You can use gluten-free breadcrumbs and buns for a gluten-free option. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
