Crispy Hot Honey Chicken combines the crunch of cornflakes with juicy chicken tenders, drizzled in sweet and spicy hot honey, perfect for family meals or gatherings.

  • 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 lbs. Chicken Tenders or Chicken Breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 5 cups Cornflakes, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (optional)
  • Olive Oil, for drizzling or spraying
  • Hot Honey, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Pat the chicken tenders dry thoroughly with paper towels.
  3. Arrange three shallow bowls with seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and crushed cornflakes.
  4. Dredge each chicken tender in the seasoned flour, then in the egg wash, and finally coat with crushed cornflakes.
  5. Place the breaded tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or olive oil.
  6. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Drizzle the cooked chicken with hot honey.
  8. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces.

Notes

For optimal crispiness, avoid crowding the chicken on the baking sheet. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
