  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberries, diced
  • Oil for frying
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cheesecake filling by mixing the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Incorporate fresh strawberries by gently folding them into the mixture.
  3. Assemble the wonton bites by placing a small spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in each wonton wrapper.
  4. Seal the wontons by moistening the edges with water, folding them over to form a triangle, and sealing tightly.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the wonton bites until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Drain the excess oil on paper towels.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
