A refreshing and hearty pasta salad featuring crispy bacon, crunchy dill pickles, and a creamy dressing, perfect for summer cookouts and gatherings.

  • 1 cup dill pickles, diced
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup pickle juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Once done, drain and rinse under cold water to cool, halting the cooking process and ensuring that your pasta stays firm in the salad.
  2. Combine the cooled pasta, diced pickles, crumbled bacon, red onion, and celery in a large bowl.
  3. Prepare the dressing by mixing the mayonnaise and pickle juice until well combined.
  4. Dress the pasta mixture with the creamy dressing, stirring until everything is well coated.
  5. Season with salt and pepper according to your preference.
  6. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh dill if desired before serving.
