A nostalgic and comforting meatloaf casserole topped with gooey cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, half of the cheese, ketchup, onion, garlic, eggs, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  4. Add the remaining cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until cooked through.
  6. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
