Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Mix BBQ sauce, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and black pepper, then cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Allow the chicken to rest before slicing.
  4. Return sliced chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over it; stir to coat and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine well with the sauce and chicken.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Enjoy every last bite!

Notes

Store leftover pasta in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, add a splash of water to keep it from drying out.
