Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat until it’s bubbly and fragrant.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Season the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the salmon skin side down in the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. Carefully flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes when sautéing the garlic. Feel free to customize with different herbs or citrus.
