A comforting pasta dish featuring fettuccine swirled in a rich garlic butter Alfredo sauce with succulent strips of sirloin steak.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté for about one minute, stirring well to release the fragrant aroma.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, creating a luxurious sauce.
  5. Return the cooked fettuccine and seared steak to the skillet; toss until well coated in the creamy sauce. Heat through for another minute.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley for a refreshing touch.

Notes

For added flavor, serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
