A quick and delightful dish featuring tender steak and buttery garlic atop silky egg noodles, ready in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 steaks (ribeye or sirloin), cut into strips
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook the egg noodles until al dente (6-8 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Steak: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak strips with salt and pepper, then cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter and garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Make It Saucy: Pour in the beef broth and scrape the browned bits from the skillet; let it simmer for 2 minutes. Add the cooked noodles and steak back into the skillet; toss to combine.
  5. Cheese It Up: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and heat through for an additional 1-2 minutes before serving.

Notes

Pat the steak strips dry before seasoning for a better sear and use the best butter for flavor. Add sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers for more variation.
