Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the Steak: Start by generously seasoning your steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the Steak: In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove the steak and let it rest.
  3. Infuse the Garlic: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Create the Creamy Sauce: Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Slice and Sauce: Slice the rested steak against the grain and arrange on a plate. Pour the sauce over the top.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Finish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, let your steak come to room temperature before cooking and use a meat thermometer for desired doneness.
