A smooth, flavorful guacamole recipe perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 roma tomato, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice and scoop the avocados. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Mash to perfection. Mash the avocados with a fork until smooth, creating a creamy texture.
  3. Add the brightness. Stir in the freshly squeezed lime juice, diced onion, roma tomato, and minced garlic.
  4. Season with salt. Add salt to taste and mix well, adjusting the seasoning to your preference.
  5. Optional herb infusion. Mix in some chopped cilantro for a fresh, herbal note.
  6. Serve freshly made with tortilla chips.

Notes

Guacamole is best served immediately but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator with plastic wrap pressed onto the surface to prevent browning.
