Delightful homemade croissants filled with savory ham and melted cheese, perfect for brunch or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • Croissant dough
  • Sliced ham
  • Sliced cheese (such as Swiss or cheddar)
  • 1 egg (for wash)
  • Optional: Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a floured surface and cut into triangles.
  3. Add a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each triangle.
  4. Spread optional Dijon mustard on the dough.
  5. Roll the dough from the base of the triangle towards the tip.
  6. Place the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days, or freeze for up to a month.
