  • 1 package frozen hashbrowns
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup cooked sausage or diced ham
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: bell peppers, spinach, or other vegetables

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s at the right temperature for baking the casserole.
  2. Combine the frozen hashbrowns, cooked sausage or ham, diced onion, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Stir until all the ingredients are well mixed.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and milk in another bowl until fully blended.
  4. Pour the egg and milk mixture over your hashbrown blend and stir to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is firm and lightly golden on top.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
