A comforting and hearty casserole featuring crispy hashbrowns, creamy cheese, and savory meats, perfect for busy mornings or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of frozen hashbrowns (30 oz)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup of diced ham or cooked sausage
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of pepper
  • Optional toppings: green onions or parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
  3. Take your frozen hashbrowns and layer them in a greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the diced ham or cooked sausage over the hashbrowns, followed by the chopped onion.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the layered hashbrowns, meat, and onions.
  6. Place your dish in the oven and bake for 45-55 minutes.
  7. Once baked, let the casserole cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh green onions or parsley.

Notes

This casserole can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning. It can be customized with different proteins or cheese varieties as desired.
