Succulent steak bites marinated in savory soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, capturing the essence of hibachi grilling at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces, ensuring that they’re uniform to allow for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, vegetable oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to make sure all the ingredients are blended beautifully.
  3. Marinate the steak pieces in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the marinated steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  6. Remove from the heat and immediately garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve right away.

Notes

For the best flavor, use high-quality steak; ribeye is particularly well-suited due to its marbling. If desired, add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
