Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • Pinch of salt – optional
  • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons cottage cheese – 2% or 4%
  • 1 egg – optional
  • Toppings: everything seasoning, poppy seeds, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
  2. Create the dough by adding cottage cheese to the flour.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
  4. Shape the dough into 4 bagels.
  5. Add an egg wash and your desired toppings.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 300°F.
  7. Air fry the bagels until golden for 15-17 minutes.
  8. Cool the bagels for at least 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days or freeze for longer storage.
