A creamy, cheesy dip with savory sausage and gooey cheese that’s perfect for gatherings and game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound (16 ounces) pork sausage
  • 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 small can (4 ounces) diced green chilies, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 loaf of crusty bread or tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté the pork sausage in a medium skillet over medium heat until browned (6-8 minutes). Drain excess grease.
  3. Mix the softened cream cheese, Velveeta cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, and diced green chilies in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add the cooked sausage to the cheese mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Season by mixing in Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbling and lightly browned.
  8. Cool slightly before serving with crusty bread or tortilla chips.

Notes

For a spicier dip, add jalapeños or hot sauce. Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge before baking.
