A comforting dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a creamy sauce served over fluffy rice, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and heavy cream to the same skillet and stir to combine.
  6. Incorporate the rice and return the chicken to the skillet.
  7. Bring to a simmer, cover, and reduce the heat to low. Cook for about 20-25 minutes until the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked through.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This dish also freezes well for up to 3 months.
