Delicious and wholesome homemade granola bars packed with nuts and dried fruits, perfect for any time snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (e.g., almond butter, peanut butter)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits (e.g., raisins, cranberries)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together the rolled oats, chopped nuts, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine the honey and nut butter in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the honey mixture over the oat mixture and mix well.
  5. Add the dried fruits to the mixture and combine.
  6. Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish, pressing down firmly.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

These granola bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or frozen for up to three months.
